Believed to be the site of a Roman Villa, the Woodfields Green Open Space, adjacent garages and hillside, was the site of a Roman encampment. The shape of Woodfields Hill suggests a former Roman Burial Barrow. 

Much history abounds the Hill End area of Droitwich Spa, now a leisure place for metal detectorists and reports of some very interesting finds.
